Makeup ideas and inspiration//Top ten most creative makeup looks on the internet.

Thinking outside the box//Get creative with your makeup look!

Whether you are considering makeup artistry school and looking to build a makeup portfolio, or are the writer for a beauty blog, a growing youtuber or just someone who likes to "think outside the box" a little with your makeup choices. Sometimes we get a little stumped for ideas when it comes to creative looks. I decided to put together a top 10 list of most creative makeup ideas on the internet (from the ones i can find).

I am going to pick two from each category of: creative every day makeup, wedding makeup, theatrical makeup, special affects makeup, editorial/fashion makeup.

Starting with Editorial looks:

1. The first editorial look i think is super creative and different if you were looking for someone creative for a starting out portfolio or a look to do for a blog post of youtube video i think this on would get a fine amount of views.

2. This next look came out in Vogue Paris 2012. I think it is quite creative as i have never seen much else quite like it, you know that your are a stellar makeup artist when you can make a full face of color look gorgeous.

 Everyday makeup...
 3. This look may be seen as a little more editorial to some but i think on the right girl it would look fantastic. The look is described as a look for blue eyes but if you know how to choose eye shadows based on the color wheel  you would see that this would work gorgeously for brown eyes as well.

4. I love this fresh natural dewy look for everyday. so gorgeous! I was trying to keep every look more on the creative spectrum but for everyday wear i had to include this freshness.
  • The main items she is wearing here to pull this fresh look off  is a dewy foundation, so avoid words; (Mattifying, stay matte, matte foundation etc.) because it will be a lot harder to pull off that dewy glow that the model has in this picture. It also looks like she has a light pop off purple on her lids as well as a light pink in her crease, i light pink natural looking blush and a nude pink lip.

5. Wedding makeup. I find this look so clean and pretty, your wedding i think should be a day to let your natural beauty shine. This look would also look beautiful as a regular day time look as well.
6.So pretty and fresh. Your husband to be wants to see your face so enhance instead of hide. Even though you may be wearing the same amount of makeup...sssshhh know one needs to know that. Go for a fresh style. Try a dewy foundation. (but avoid spf if you will be photographed, as we all know by now.)

7. My two favorite theatrical makeup looks are:
First this eye makeup look i think it is really creative, and even looks great with an insect included.
8. I'm not sure why i love this one so much but i do, it is really creative and really say "theater"

9.  SPECIAL EFFECTS MAKEUP
Now for special effects makeup i went with the more scary/ creepy special effects makeup i'm sure you will be super creeped out my the first which i came across on pinterest.
Like gosh that is creepy!!
10. and finally number 10 this one appeared in makeup artist mag and looks pretty amazing.

I Hope you enjoyed, or got some ideas Comment and let me know your favorite.

MAKEUP for men

Tom Ford’s New Grooming Collection Sounds Very Much Like Man Makeup.

tom-ford03
Now that men can buy crop tops and walk for womenswear, it seems the sartorial gender gap is finally being bridged. But so far there’s been something missing. No longer thanks to Tom Ford, who has designed a range of
makeuphigh-performance grooming products for guys.
The line is launching this fall (November in the U.S.) and will consist of six high-performanceskincare products plus two grooming ones to correct flaws and instantly improve the appearance of the skin. The former are products men will probably be familiar with, though the price points might be a little out of most guys’ comfort zone. There’s a facial cleanser for $48, while the most expensive item in the line is the $150 Skin Revitalizing Concentrate.
What men might not be so familiar with are the “products with cosmetic benefits to be used in a very masculine way.” These include a concealer and a water-based bronzing gel. Ford himself uses bronzer every day to feign a post-tennis match glow.
Totally sounds like makeup for dudes to us, but if it keeps their fingers out of our concealer pots then we’re all for equality in the beauty department. At these prices though, guys might want to keep them out of our sight for more than just modesty purposes.

Three great long lasting lipsticks

Three Great Long lasting Lipsticks

Facegoop: bright lipstick
If you're not careful with bright colours, you can end up looking like a vampire who's been gorging on blood Photograph: Facegoop
M: E, you know I favor bright lipsticks. Even more so now that I go swing dancing 15 times a week. The bright lip. It is essential.
E: As essential as the full Brooklyn beard on the gentlemen.
M: However if you are not careful, you end up looking like a vampire who has been gorging on blood. Lipstick all over the face. Pale ring of nastiness on your lips where it's disappeared.
E: Dude, are you sure you're doing this "dancing" thing right? Why does it involve smearing your face on people?

M:
It is all perfectly legit. But the lipstick needs to be long-lasting.
E: You are licking beards, aren't you?
M: NO. Shall I tell you about my current favorites?

E: Do, please.
Facegoop's favourite long lasting lipsticks
Apply to your lips, not your dance partner's beard.
M: First, Laura Mercier lip stain. Mine is called Mulberry and it is a sort of dark berry colour. And when I say "mine", I mean "I stole it from my flatmate".
E: Ha! I wondered where you were getting your sweaty fists on Laura Mercier cash.
M: You can tell how much I love it by how bashed the pot is. It's a very long-lasting stain and the beauty of it is that it's freakishly moisturising. HOW DOES THAT WORK?
E: That's FBI classified information, madam. Code black, need-to-know basis.
M: Laura Mercier would have to kill us if we knew
Pot of Laura Mercier Lip Stain in Mulberry

E: She totally would. Let's move on to less mortally dangerous lip colours please, M.
M: My second option is a double-pronged affair. I start by colouring in my lips with a Rimmel marker pen. It smells of fruit.
E: I hate those pens. I tried one on your urging and it desiccated my lips to the texture of Ramesses II's mummified scalp. Just Bitten. Ow. See, that is not a selling point to me.
M: Yeah. See what I mean about the vampires. To compound the weirdness, mine is called something ridiculous like Passion, I think. A sort of bright pink.
E: Beard passion.
M: Shhh. So I colour my lips in, being careful to not go over the lines, lest the teacher scold me. Then I apply a layer of Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in shade 22: a matte, bright pink-red. And the magic of this two-stage thingy is that when the lipstick wears off, you are still left with bright colour on your lips! WOOP. I am pretty proud of my trick. EVERYBODY SHOULD BE DOING IT.
E: Everybody … except me. You know what a lip-coward I am. I want to try this, but I don't dare.
M: You are pathetic. I'm wondering whether to even tell you about the third lipstick.

E:
It's OK, I can take it.
M: It might scare you away.
E: I am doing my yoga breathing. I can do this. Come on, flood me with lip colour.
M: Shiseido. Perfect Rouge, it is called, in shade RD 514, which has the added bonus of making it sound like an experiment. It is a proper red: deep and rich. It is very good quality. Moisturising, long-lasting, unique, light-reflecting colour. I am convinced it's Shiseido.
E: Nice. I am glad you are out there doing colour. I can live vicariously through you, like a lipstick Miss Havisham.
M: You need to try it. It will brighten your life.
E: M, you have convinced me. I am going to try, but you are not to laugh when I look like a sad bowl of porridge with some jam in it.
M: Be brave. You suit bright colours, with your pale complexion. And we're back to vampires again.

E: *Shimmers*

Liquid Eyeliner Guide

I can only fit so many details above so i am just going to explain and simplify everything i stated above

1.When you close your eye and either look at it with your other eye, or take a picture of it, you can see a natural shadowing, you can see mine above in the first photo, above my lid you see the shadows where i might put my brow bone eye shadow, also there is the same this for your top lash/lid eyeliner some people have this line more than other but you usually can actually see the shape around your eye that you should be almost tracing when you apply your eye shadows and  eye liner i see some people who have a clear perfect eyeliner line without eyeliner on and i will say to my self ''wow she must have had an easy time learning her liquid eyeliner lol, and this is also the reason i think is why some people have an easier time with it and some people have a harder time with it, some people have a super obvious line and some people it isn't so clear, but basically whether your natural line is clear or not, it is basically just where the straight top line(with a closed eye,) leads, and where the bottom lash line meets up.

This is only one technique that i find works for me, and this is only for one style of eyeliner, you will notice a lot of people do it much differently from on an other, some do with a thinner wigged line, or a longer line, but the ones you will notice are most different from this technique is something like below
Some styles are simply just following the shape of your eye shape line slightly and tracing and ending where you desire, but there are also a lot of styles like the one directly above, where you are pretty much just drawing a straight line (straight with a closed eye, and wigging up where you know it looks good, in the one above (just one other style and technique) I prefer to do it the following way so that there is not unfilled space between your lash line and eyeliner line, thickly line your eyes, only following your lash line, do not wig or shape at this point just thickly line your eyes, then starting with a closed eye(do no do this if you cannot close without squinting, it is just the guide for you to see the straight line, start drawing the thin straight diagonal line, wig to where you feel it looks good, if you are just starting i would suggest to start with eyeliner styles that actually have a step by step technique to it, for other styles just practice and get to know you eye shape and what works for them.
Have fun goegeouss (gorgeous in a New york or jersey accent) lol

Low priced drugstore makeup

DRUG-STORE OR LOW PRICED BEAUTY PRODUCT HAUL!
1.The Avon Super Extend infinitize Mascara This Is how the Mascara Looks on, I purchase this one for 5.99 ( before tax) It comes in a Orange tube, Wrapped in black, also the wand is really different i haven't seen one like this one before, it is a curved tipped wand but the bristles are longer on the end, then super tiny,  a little bigger then at the tip they get thicker but not quite as long i think this really helps for mascara to not clump on your lashes at all, so the wand has the benefits of the curved wand, and it seem as though the way the bristles are shaped it resembles and sort of forms to your lashes , if that makes sense, the formula it's self seems more liquid but i find with a lot of mascaras that are more liquid  help with length but they don't leave them as thick at least for my lashes. This mascara is not the same, i find the liquid texture helps with length, and the way the bristles are helps spread of my lashes, and really helps them look thicker.I got mine in the color Brown/Black (ignore the unfinished eyeliner lol, it was just to show the Mascara ;) Everything i got here Besides the Avon mascara was actually from wal mart I've noticed these already great priced products are even cheaper there, why would you pay more for the same stuff?, the beauty of good ol Walmart, http://fave.co/17LG2i7 check out Revlons photoready line while you're there too i think it's a good dupe for Makeup forever's HD line, But if you always prefer to go high-end sometimes with brands like Makeup forever you can't beat, if you live in canada in a spot where there is no Sephora like i do, and have to order online, if you were going to be shopping soon, you can use the coupon code BEPRIME, Free Bare Escentuals eyelid primer with any order which is pretty cool, or you can use the coupon code FAVEMINI, for Free deluxe samples with $25+ purchase so if you are a beauty blogger, you will have some extra things to review, haul, and swatch. http://fave.co/11koUZx  (Sephora HD Line on full Sephora website)  if you do order and use the coupon codes and do a write-up on the products send me a link and i would like to share it on my page, for you :)
Hope you enjoy ladies, I will include a few more places you can find these think below :)

2.Maybelline expert wear eyeshadow. I got some maybelline pallets and i have been wearing the light colors for day, like everyday the seem pretty pigmented when i apply these colors on my eyes, but when i was doing a swatch of the darker colors it was actually quite a few dips on to get to show the  color although that could have been because makeup doesn't stick to my arm as well, once i applied a primer it went on a lot nicer. I fend these to be really great for beginners as well because they actually have it written in the shadow, which color they would recommend for your base, lid, crease, and liner they are super cute and i got mine around 4$ after taxes at Wal-mart which is always good :) I did get them at a sale, even though on the Maybelline website they are considered NEW so originally they are about $6.25 on the Maybelline website. I got the Opal Lights one and the Amethyst Smokes.
FOR BEST RESULTS

Just sweep the brush x4:
1. Apply base color
2. Sweep shade on lid
3. Contour crease and blend
4. Line around eye

3.Kiss Ever Pro Lashes. These False lashes are new, i haven`t seen them before, they are super thick, so if you are someone who doesn`t like a super full lash, in fear of them looking fake they may not be for you although i posted a pic with them on below, so if you don't find them to be too thick you may actually really like them,  like for myself for example i may cut them in half because when i applied them the first time they seemed a little too thick for me but the lash itself look really natural in pictures, when i look at the pictures with them on they do actually look really natural, the first time i applied them i wasn't too sure but in pictures they look fantastic and if you like really thick lashes you will probably love these also, they come with little tweezers as well for you to apply them, as you can see, and also if you don`t buy lashes often, and you just pick them up on occasion you will need to have your own glue, which if you are someone who uses false lashes regularly then you probably do have some, if not kiss sells the glue separately, they recommend you get the kiss glue, but of course they will want you too, i just used the lash glue i had at home.

Me with my Kiss ever pro lashes on above.
4.Maybelline Master Precise liquid Eyeliner.I really like this eyeliner, it is literally like applying your eyeliner with a sharpy ;) It is super pigmented, and lasts a really long time i did a swatch of it on my arm, and wanted to see how long it would last, and just washing normal, i didn't really scrub at it, because if i were to really try to get it off, it would come off but just trying to leave it on and washing normal it lasted on my arm for 5 days i was taking pictures though out the process that i will post very soon.

5. Spa Resource Pro-series I love these brushes they are so soft i will do a review and give a little more info and maybe post some eye looks that I've used the brushes for i got a eye smudge brush and a blending brush i love them both, loose hair hasn`t been falling off of them so far so good anyways, i would definitely buy this brand again.
6. Physician Formula Youth Wear Foundation I had wanted to try out the physicians formula foundation I was looking for a new good one to love, and i herd someone recommending it, and because it was priced so well, i decided to pick it up, i am telling you such a good purchase I am not sure if it is the new primer i had got at the same time as this foundation either way i love this foundation and the primer, it goes on my skin nicely it has a really good coverage and it super matte like i really don't even need powder after using this, It even comes with a little foundation brush the actual brush and bristles are the same size as a regular foundation brush that you would buy, but the handle is a little shorter and for the price of the foundation with the fact that you get a brush with it, it is pretty awesome like i don't think you are paying more because you get the brush with it because it is priced so well, I would definitely recommend this to someone and would buy it again, it is a ''Youth-Boosting'' Foundation but it is great for us younger girls too as i am only 20 and love it.  I am going to do full review on everything or if anyone would like a review specifically let me know :)

 7. Make-Offs Cosmetic Sponges I got some Cosmetic sponges i really love these they blend your foundation super well, and i think i am going to start picking these up on a regular basis, you get 8 sponges they are multi-purposed, and really you can use one for a while because you can just clean them so the 8 will last me a while it seems.
8.NYC Minute Quick dry in yellow & blue and Wet n Wild Shine in White Now for nails I got the NYC Polishes to do nail art with, and got the Wet n Wild White nail polish to use as a base, i did a look the other day on my fake nails and the color for all does come out the way they look but i would say after a few coats. For the NYC i only got to try them for a splatter nail look so everything i was doing with them was pretty thick so i wasn't really able to tell if they would be super pigmented, and as for the Wet n Wild in white after a few coats the color is great, it does not flake but for me i feel like it didn't flake because it is almost rubbery like i feel like it never fully drys, maybe because i had so many coats on or something i will do my nails with it and do some swatches for each color and maybe a video to show you what i mean.

9.Hard Candy Sheer Envy skin perfecting Face primer. I ended up getting this one instead of the Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting primer because i have herd good things about this one and the price was amazing and since this haul was supposed to be for really great priced stuff  i decided to give this one a try this time around, the revlon one is still a good price but a more expensive one for a drug-store brand, so i will go for the Revlon PhotoReady perfecting primer next trip, i think then i will pick up the whole collection and give my opinion on the line but as for this primer i like it a lot and for the price you can't go wrong.
