Ageless Derma Satin Lip Gloss Review (in depth)

Hey Everyone, I am back again with a review for you! The Review is on  Ageless Derma's satin lip gloss in Cafe Rose. I mentioned it in my " No makeup" makeup tutorial and minimal makeup transformation video, so you can get a sense of what the product looks like (on my lips at least)
Ageless Derma is a doctor formulated skin care and makeup brand, which is working hard at achieving the ultimate anti-aging line.
So far i have tried their Satin lip gloss and since I've had it, it has pretty much been living in my ''carry with me'' makeup bag
It is super build-able you can add just a touch of color having it be super light and natural like shown below
Or you can build it up to be a super vibrant color comparable to lipstick in a lip gloss! It is a super pigmented lip gloss like shown.
I haven't had to many actual lip glosses that had such high pigments. I don't think i have owned any comparable to the pigments in this one, it is seriously like a lip stick but can be lightly added to have less of an intense color.

SWATCH TIME!

The color on my wrist here was just applied with my finger, as you can see it is definitely a radiant color.

Texture:

The texture is really not sticky at all it goes on actually really smooth and seems to really hydrate my lips. It seems to have the benefits of lip stick; high pigments, radiant color etc. while have the benefits of lip gloss as well.

Packaging:

I Adore the packaging it is super clean and sleek nothing from your purse ever gets inside the rim. I am looking at it now and it really is super durable and really keeps your product safe from any outside air or dirt, which i love! I absolutely hate when i get a new expensive lip gloss and i leave it in my purse one time and it gets full of lint and such, this hasn't happened with this one, so.. so far no complaints.
It is in a little 4.77 Gram clear jar with a black twist on cap, which comes adorably packaged in their ageless derma lip gloss box like any high end product  (which is really cute and I am a real sucker for cute packaging,..shown below.

Ingredients:

petrolatum, polybutane, c12-15, Allkylbenzoate, Myristyl, lactate, ozokerite, beezwax, Stearalkonium hectorite, propylene carbonate, Vitamin E, Acetate, Aloe Vera, Grapeseed Extract, Green Tea Extract, Wheat Germ Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil,  Peppermint Oil,  BHA
May Also Contain: Castor Oil, Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide, Mica
As you can see there are also a few great ingredients for your skin like Vitamin E, Aloe Vera, Beez wax, Almonde oil, Wheat germ oil etc.

Price: $15.00

On the Ageless Derma website it goes for $15.00 if you were looking to check it out for your self here is the website http://www.agelessderma.com/lipgloss.aspx you will find it on the ''Mineral Makeup'' page.

Fun Brand Facts:

1.AGELESS DERMA DOES NOT TEST ON ANIMALS!!!
Which is something i know we all really like to know.
2. This particular lip gloss seems to be fragrance free, I know a lot of people prefer to get things which are fragrance free due to allergies and things like that, The smell kind of reminds me of lip stick so it doesn't seem to smell really funny or anything the best way i can describe it would be like a lip stick type smell.

Well i think i have covered all of my angles of this particular product if you had any other questions or were wondering anything else leave a comment below and i will be sure to get back to you, if i don't know off hand i will be sure to find out, or you can check it out from their website. You can also check out their twitter and facebook page

BA STAR Apricot star dust Review swatches, and video using the product

Hey Everyone, So i'm back with another Review for you guys I recently just got the BA STAR Apricot Star dust mineral makeup, I used it in my ''no makeup'' Minimal makeup transformation video I just posted the other day, i will link the video below if you would like to check that out and see how the shadow looks on me particularly. The  brand Specifically builds their line catering  towards Cheerleaders, Dancers, Competitors, and trendsetters is the description they give, it's actually the #1 brand these girls go for, definitely for their high pigments, and shimmer I think!
I did a swatch for you guys to give you an idea of the way it looks, also the video i just posted the ''A 'no makeup' makeup tutorial and minimal makeup transformation video i was using this as my all over lid color, which i will post here as well.

Video Using This product: please click and watch from youtube :D also if you enjoyed this video and wanted to see more or had any requests leave a comment here or on the youtube comment section :D

As a Mineral makeup i think it is definitely a better one, a lot of my mineral makeup as i open it will just blow all over everything, this will only spill if you are having a clumsy day, and you happen to drop it or something when opening. The Consistency isn't as loose as say a translucent powder for example  the only way it will all go to waste is if YOU spill it or drop it, or some how loose control then it might spill as it is a mineral textured eye shadow.

\

Ingredients:
  • Mica-Group Minerals, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxide, Iron Oxide(Fe304)
  • FD&C red No. 40 Red iron oxide, FD&C yellow No.5 Ultr marine blue,
  • black iron oxide, manganese violet

Packaging:
So I am really a big sucker for cute packaging a lot of the time the packaging in itself will make me want to purchase something, like oh that brand has cute packaging lets buy some! :D
along with cute we need durable packaging something that isn't going to break or waste the makeup the first time it gets thrown in our purse or travel bag, we all hate when we put our favorite high-end lip gloss in our bag and every speck of dust in our bag is in the rim, so i decided to cover a packaging segment in every review from now on, because it most cases it is equally important,

So for this one i think the packaging is super durable it is in a 5 oz jar, has a screw on lid, which screws on very tight, i really could not see it opening up in your makeup bag or purse. Underneath the screw on lid it has a plastic piece, with a little sticker on top cover four holes, you can either leave this stick on and just take off the plastic piece every time you use it, which will keep the jar pretty clean, or you can remove the sticker and just access the eye shadow, like a translucent powder. Opening the product this way, you will have less of a chance to spill when using. so for durability i think it is a great design and has the potential to last.

Now Cuteness, You can see the jar above so i guess you can make that assumption yourself, it is a very classic design, clear jar black rimmed lid, with their adorable BA star logo on top!

I also got their base, which i think would be great for just any other sparkle you have at home or with any other BA star product. I know a lot of girls use lip gloss, chap stick and things like that for a good stick with their sparkle but this base has an amazing stick, this particular eye shadow doesn't necessarily need a super sticky base, i have been just using it with any base because it isn't just sparkles, it is just a really great ultra shimmer eye shadow, but the base on it's own is a great stick base for when you are applying any lid sparkles!

This particular eye shadow costs $8.75
The BA star glue-liquid Base costs $8.75 as well.

Hope you got some information you were looking for, if you were interested in knowing anything else about this particular product, or about the brand comment below or check out their website, to give the product a try for yourself.
If you do give anything a try comment below how you liked it!

Garnier Belle color Box hair dye Review

Garnier Belle Color Hair Dye Review

Dye your hair yourself, $100.00 or $5.00

I finally colored my hair the other day after having it red for a little while and full of un-colored roots, I colored my hair the last time again myself with the box hair dye.
I have been doing my hair on my own for a while , at first just little things, like cutting my bangs and dying my own hair, but recently i started cutting my full head of hair on my own, into layers, for one it's quicker less time consuming and cheaper which we all love! but back to the point, So the last time i dyed it, it was with the red boxed drug store hair dye, and i was really hesitant, as the last time i had dyed my hair red it was horrendously hard to remove, I had re-colored multiply times had it stripped and re-dyed professionally and even then, i was still able to see the red underneath whatever color i had in the sunlight, but i went ahead with it anyways and that seems to be what has happened this time around.
This time around i got the garnier hair dye in Dark blonde, because i need to get a dark blonde just for it to go light brown with box drug store hair dye, which was what i wanted. All of my roots were colored with the dark blonde, and turned out to be the light brown color that i had imagined, but anywhere the red hair dye was still in, did not change even the slightest.
I could not notice much difference at all, and it seems anytime i have red hair dye in and go with any blonde the red seems to only stand out more if anything, someone had brought this to my attention in the past and maybe this isn't the case for everyone but definitely for me, it does seem to be the case with any blonde the red may show more, and with any color the red still always seems to show underneath in the sunlight, even this time when it was only a boxed hair dye.
The last time made more sense as it was a bright orange auburn shade, but now i realize for my hair, red is just one of those colors that is extremely difficult re-dye, or change.

So with that being said, I do not think that the Garnier permanent hair dye is necessarily a ''bad'' or ''no good'' hair dye because it was only able to change my roots and natural hair color and not where i had other color,
I think it is a really great formula considering it was able to color my natural hair that light as my natural hair color is nearly black, and it did get my hair very very close to dark blonde. If you see above it shows (like other hair color boxes) the different natural hair colors and how your hair will turn out if your hair is that color, after using the product. The box showed my hair turning out, just brown(shown above) and if you see my roots above and see how my hair actually turned out it was pretty close to the color it should have been if not dead on. My over all review would have to be..
I really think this particular product did an amazing job on my natural hair color, I would say about

Rating *** out of 5 stars OVERALL but if my hair would have been fully natural i would have EASILY given this product a

***** Star Rating if my hair would have been fully natural, that would have been my rating for sure.

Because i was really impressed with this one for sure and was impressed with how light it was able to get my hair in the first place.
If you are someone with light to dark hair naturally looking for a dark blonde to light brown, this would be great, because this was one of the few that was able to get my hair that light, and this was only my experience and i think only because the color in my hair was red, and i have had trouble with getting red out of my hair in the past, If my hair was fully natural, or maybe even colored with another shade, I think i would have given a better rating.
The color of my hair above is shown in the sunlight and fully dried. You can also see above what i was talking about, My roots are colored the dark blonde and my pony tail is still red.

Seacret Mud Mask and Dead Sea salt scrub REVIEW Part 2

MUD MASK AND SALT SCRUB REVIEW

Now we are at my Favorite of the Seacret skin care line, which is why i decided to write about these two together and also because I use them together.
I have been using the scrub on it's own almost obsessively when i first got  it because i loved how soft it made my legs and skin where ever i used it, before i had started using this i was using the st.ives exfoliator and that one also i was using every shower but since i got this one i had been doing that with this.

The scrub is actual salt, it is not just the name when I had used it on my face to exfoliate and scrub off the access mud mask [above] i had gotten a bit in my mouth and it was super salty and not the usual product ''eww ew eww get it out of my mouth, tastes like a soap punishment taste'' but actual salt. with that being said it actually smells awesome, which i wouldn't really expect from something that tasted like salt. and like i have said in my previous Seacret post, I am not usually a fan of anything scented going on my body other than a light scent like dove soap for example but a perfume is a no no as it makes my skin really itchy, but this isn't a perfume type scent it is more like a Dove or soapy scent, it does not irritate at all.

I will definitely keep using this and i would recommend this to a friend, who is looking for a new great more natural exfoliator, and loves spa products. I feel like almost anyone enjoys these type products I remember being in the mall one day and this lady walking up to me asking me if she can exfoliate my arms, and it worked amazingly and those were spa products which i don't remember the name of but i always remembered that because of how good they worked, well this exfoliator reminded me slightly of that, so if you love a great spa product like to exfoliate i would recommend this to you. I was going to do a pros and cons but i cannot think of anything really to con. I am pretty positive towards it.

Now the Mask BEST Mask I have ever used, far better than any drugstore mask i have tried, It looks very muddy, a muddy texture, it looks like the Masks in the movies, the type you would be wearing cucumbers with. Where you use it, it does burn but that is only the sensation of it digging deep into your pores and working, I applied evenly to my fave with a popsicle stick, once applied i sat and left it on for about 15 to 20 min, or until it was fully hardened to my face, It hardens well also.
If you are not able to move your face, this is normal. Mine started stinging i would say about halfway through not so intense to the point it is un-tolerable more like a tingling, product sting sensation, like something you would get from A using a mask or a strong toner during a break out, [a little stronger than the toner], tolerable and just enough to notice. If you are having this sting, I do not think there is a need to run and take it off, you are not allergic  it is just the Mask doing it's job(unless of course it got to an intense point of not being able to tolerate, for me it was just the stinging product sting sensation)
I have read other reviews on this product, and the reviewer mentioned the same sensation.

After the Mask dried i started removing with warm water as much as i could, then with the sea salt scrub on a damp cloth,  I exfoliated and got rid of any excess, I then re-washed my face with cold water to close up my pores.
Immediately after i wasn't drastically noticing to the point i was touching my face and hugly noticing, but by that night ESPECIALLY after really exfoliating, I can tell my face was really soft and smooth, I couldn't stop showing it off to my boyfriend, by telling him to touch my face.
So for this product i will definitely keep using once or twice a week, that is more than enough for a mask and i will report back in the comment section, or update if after a long period of time using i have anything to add. You can find the Seacret Dead sea minerals products on their  --->WEBSITE <--- Happy reading :)
If you liked this post let me know below and if you have any other post you would like to see let me know and if you tried secret let me know how you liked it!! Hope you enjoyed!
My face was stuck here, i couldn't really smile, sorry if i frightened you lol

Seacret Cleanser & Toner

Seacret Cleanser & Toner.

SEACRET SKIN CARE REVIEW Part 1

I got to try out the Seacret skin care and Spa product line recently, Seacret is a skin care and Spa product Company and what is interesting and makes them different is their products actually come from dead sea minerals. I got a few products to try out which i will get into the rest later, but for now i am just mentioning the Cleanser and toner. I am telling you for even a short amount of time using these products they really seem to work. After using the exfoliator or the mask once your skin is literally like baby soft i couldn't stop telling my boyfriend to touch my face and skin, but i will get into the exfoliator and mask soon enough so stay tuned for that.

As for the Cleanser same thing you noticeably feel you skin appearing softer after using. I applied the cleanser left it on for a little while just while i brush my teeth or do other things, just to really allow it to soak into my pores after rinsing off well, I then apply the toner with a cotton ball shortly after, and once your face drys you will notice the difference just with how soft your skin feels to the touch, the cleanser goes for 44.95 retail currently on the Seacret website <--There to visit and as for the Toner is goes for $49.95
Overall Great product and it is definitely worth giving a try if you have tried this product comment below and let me know
what you think. Also stay tuned for reviews on more seacret products coming shortly.
You can find these products online at the web address above, and by Seacret agents which is a pretty awesome job title i may add. If you are not super familiar with finding skin care products that are best for you and your skin and when you start looking for skin care you start to feel totally lost and overwhelmed, another thing that is pretty great is that when you are looking into trying the line, you get to speak with a Seacret skin care specialist, to work with you and help you find the right products for you. Your job is to tell them your skin concerns and your Seacret skin care specialist will do the rest    (*)
Also check out this video it is really great with just letting you know about the products and teaches you how to use them and things like that.

Three great long lasting lipsticks

Three Great Long lasting Lipsticks

Facegoop: bright lipstick
If you're not careful with bright colours, you can end up looking like a vampire who's been gorging on blood Photograph: Facegoop
M: E, you know I favor bright lipsticks. Even more so now that I go swing dancing 15 times a week. The bright lip. It is essential.
E: As essential as the full Brooklyn beard on the gentlemen.
M: However if you are not careful, you end up looking like a vampire who has been gorging on blood. Lipstick all over the face. Pale ring of nastiness on your lips where it's disappeared.
E: Dude, are you sure you're doing this "dancing" thing right? Why does it involve smearing your face on people?

M:
It is all perfectly legit. But the lipstick needs to be long-lasting.
E: You are licking beards, aren't you?
M: NO. Shall I tell you about my current favorites?

E: Do, please.
Facegoop's favourite long lasting lipsticks
Apply to your lips, not your dance partner's beard.
M: First, Laura Mercier lip stain. Mine is called Mulberry and it is a sort of dark berry colour. And when I say "mine", I mean "I stole it from my flatmate".
E: Ha! I wondered where you were getting your sweaty fists on Laura Mercier cash.
M: You can tell how much I love it by how bashed the pot is. It's a very long-lasting stain and the beauty of it is that it's freakishly moisturising. HOW DOES THAT WORK?
E: That's FBI classified information, madam. Code black, need-to-know basis.
M: Laura Mercier would have to kill us if we knew
Pot of Laura Mercier Lip Stain in Mulberry

E: She totally would. Let's move on to less mortally dangerous lip colours please, M.
M: My second option is a double-pronged affair. I start by colouring in my lips with a Rimmel marker pen. It smells of fruit.
E: I hate those pens. I tried one on your urging and it desiccated my lips to the texture of Ramesses II's mummified scalp. Just Bitten. Ow. See, that is not a selling point to me.
M: Yeah. See what I mean about the vampires. To compound the weirdness, mine is called something ridiculous like Passion, I think. A sort of bright pink.
E: Beard passion.
M: Shhh. So I colour my lips in, being careful to not go over the lines, lest the teacher scold me. Then I apply a layer of Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in shade 22: a matte, bright pink-red. And the magic of this two-stage thingy is that when the lipstick wears off, you are still left with bright colour on your lips! WOOP. I am pretty proud of my trick. EVERYBODY SHOULD BE DOING IT.
E: Everybody … except me. You know what a lip-coward I am. I want to try this, but I don't dare.
M: You are pathetic. I'm wondering whether to even tell you about the third lipstick.

E:
It's OK, I can take it.
M: It might scare you away.
E: I am doing my yoga breathing. I can do this. Come on, flood me with lip colour.
M: Shiseido. Perfect Rouge, it is called, in shade RD 514, which has the added bonus of making it sound like an experiment. It is a proper red: deep and rich. It is very good quality. Moisturising, long-lasting, unique, light-reflecting colour. I am convinced it's Shiseido.
E: Nice. I am glad you are out there doing colour. I can live vicariously through you, like a lipstick Miss Havisham.
M: You need to try it. It will brighten your life.
E: M, you have convinced me. I am going to try, but you are not to laugh when I look like a sad bowl of porridge with some jam in it.
M: Be brave. You suit bright colours, with your pale complexion. And we're back to vampires again.

E: *Shimmers*

Low priced drugstore makeup

DRUG-STORE OR LOW PRICED BEAUTY PRODUCT HAUL!
1.The Avon Super Extend infinitize Mascara This Is how the Mascara Looks on, I purchase this one for 5.99 ( before tax) It comes in a Orange tube, Wrapped in black, also the wand is really different i haven't seen one like this one before, it is a curved tipped wand but the bristles are longer on the end, then super tiny,  a little bigger then at the tip they get thicker but not quite as long i think this really helps for mascara to not clump on your lashes at all, so the wand has the benefits of the curved wand, and it seem as though the way the bristles are shaped it resembles and sort of forms to your lashes , if that makes sense, the formula it's self seems more liquid but i find with a lot of mascaras that are more liquid  help with length but they don't leave them as thick at least for my lashes. This mascara is not the same, i find the liquid texture helps with length, and the way the bristles are helps spread of my lashes, and really helps them look thicker.I got mine in the color Brown/Black (ignore the unfinished eyeliner lol, it was just to show the Mascara ;) Everything i got here Besides the Avon mascara was actually from wal mart I've noticed these already great priced products are even cheaper there, why would you pay more for the same stuff?, the beauty of good ol Walmarthttp://fave.co/17LG2i7 check out Revlons photoready line while you're there too i think it's a good dupe for Makeup forever's HD line, But if you always prefer to go high-end sometimes with brands like Makeup forever you can't beat, if you live in canada in a spot where there is no Sephora like i do, and have to order online, if you were going to be shopping soon, you can use the coupon code BEPRIME, Free Bare Escentuals eyelid primer with any order which is pretty cool, or you can use the coupon code FAVEMINI, for Free deluxe samples with $25+ purchase so if you are a beauty blogger, you will have some extra things to review, haul, and swatch. http://fave.co/11koUZx  (Sephora HD Line on full Sephora website)  if you do order and use the coupon codes and do a write-up on the products send me a link and i would like to share it on my page, for you :)
Hope you enjoy ladies, I will include a few more places you can find these think below :)

2.Maybelline expert wear eyeshadow. got some maybelline pallets and i have been wearing the light colors for day, like everyday the seem pretty pigmented when i apply these colors on my eyes, but when i was doing a swatch of the darker colors it was actually quite a few dips on to get to show the  color although that could have been because makeup doesn't stick to my arm as well, once i applied a primer it went on a lot nicer. I fend these to be really great for beginners as well because they actually have it written in the shadow, which color they would recommend for your base, lid, crease, and liner they are super cute and i got mine around 4$ after taxes at Wal-mart which is always good :) I did get them at a sale, even though on the Maybelline website they are considered NEW so originally they are about $6.25 on the Maybelline website. I got the Opal Lights one and the Amethyst Smokes.
FOR BEST RESULTS

Just sweep the brush x4:
1. Apply base color
2. Sweep shade on lid
3. Contour crease and blend
4. Line around eye

3.Kiss Ever Pro Lashes. These False lashes are new, i haven`t seen them before, they are super thick, so if you are someone who doesn`t like a super full lash, in fear of them looking fake they may not be for you although i posted a pic with them on below, so if you don't find them to be too thick you may actually really like them,  like for myself for example i may cut them in half because when i applied them the first time they seemed a little too thick for me but the lash itself look really natural in pictures, when i look at the pictures with them on they do actually look really natural, the first time i applied them i wasn't too sure but in pictures they look fantastic and if you like really thick lashes you will probably love these also, they come with little tweezers as well for you to apply them, as you can see, and also if you don`t buy lashes often, and you just pick them up on occasion you will need to have your own glue, which if you are someone who uses false lashes regularly then you probably do have some, if not kiss sells the glue separately, they recommend you get the kiss glue, but of course they will want you too, i just used the lash glue i had at home.

Me with my Kiss ever pro lashes on above.
4.Maybelline Master Precise liquid Eyeliner.I really like this eyeliner, it is literally like applying your eyeliner with a sharpy ;) It is super pigmented, and lasts a really long time i did a swatch of it on my arm, and wanted to see how long it would last, and just washing normal, i didn't really scrub at it, because if i were to really try to get it off, it would come off but just trying to leave it on and washing normal it lasted on my arm for 5 days i was taking pictures though out the process that i will post very soon.

5. Spa Resource Pro-series I love these brushes they are so soft i will do a review and give a little more info and maybe post some eye looks that I've used the brushes for i got a eye smudge brush and a blending brush i love them both, loose hair hasn`t been falling off of them so far so good anyways, i would definitely buy this brand again.
6. Physician Formula Youth Wear Foundation I had wanted to try out the physicians formula foundation I was looking for a new good one to love, and i herd someone recommending it, and because it was priced so well, i decided to pick it up, i am telling you such a good purchase I am not sure if it is the new primer i had got at the same time as this foundation either way i love this foundation and the primer, it goes on my skin nicely it has a really good coverage and it super matte like i really don't even need powder after using this, It even comes with a little foundation brush the actual brush and bristles are the same size as a regular foundation brush that you would buy, but the handle is a little shorter and for the price of the foundation with the fact that you get a brush with it, it is pretty awesome like i don't think you are paying more because you get the brush with it because it is priced so well, I would definitely recommend this to someone and would buy it again, it is a ''Youth-Boosting'' Foundation but it is great for us younger girls too as i am only 20 and love it.  I am going to do full review on everything or if anyone would like a review specifically let me know :)

 7. Make-Offs Cosmetic Sponges I got some Cosmetic sponges i really love these they blend your foundation super well, and i think i am going to start picking these up on a regular basis, you get 8 sponges they are multi-purposed, and really you can use one for a while because you can just clean them so the 8 will last me a while it seems.
8.NYC Minute Quick dry in yellow & blue and Wet n Wild Shine in White Now for nails I got the NYC Polishes to do nail art with, and got the Wet n Wild White nail polish to use as a base, i did a look the other day on my fake nails and the color for all does come out the way they look but i would say after a few coats. For the NYC i only got to try them for a splatter nail look so everything i was doing with them was pretty thick so i wasn't really able to tell if they would be super pigmented, and as for the Wet n Wild in white after a few coats the color is great, it does not flake but for me i feel like it didn't flake because it is almost rubbery like i feel like it never fully drys, maybe because i had so many coats on or something i will do my nails with it and do some swatches for each color and maybe a video to show you what i mean.

9.Hard Candy Sheer Envy skin perfecting Face primer. I ended up getting this one instead of the Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting primer because i have herd good things about this one and the price was amazing and since this haul was supposed to be for really great priced stuff  i decided to give this one a try this time around, the revlon one is still a good price but a more expensive one for a drug-store brand, so i will go for the Revlon PhotoReady perfecting primer next trip, i think then i will pick up the whole collection and give my opinion on the line but as for this primer i like it a lot and for the price you can't go wrong.
